the water plops back up on you?

In the vast majority of cases - no chance. But, and it is a big BUT! If the room is very hot and moist it might just make the seat moist and warm enough, or the water warm enough to support microbial life. Some bugs thrive in dirt so keep it clean!

In most situations you are perfectly safe but if the conditions are right to mimic the temperature a bug is happy at!!!!!

Make sure the place is cool huh!!

I really dont think you have anything to worry about.I have been on this earth a number of years and I have never heard of a male or female catching anything from the water in a toilet.If you can, somebody let me know, Ihave been missing something al these years.
