I have been friends with this guy for 4 years. We dated but then we decided it wasnt the best time for us. The next year he got this stupid trashy girl pregnant, he was miserable but stayed with her for his daughter. She hates me and harrassed me for 2 years because we were still friends and he is in love with me (never with her though). She finally stopped after I called the police because of her threats. She called me racial slurs and threatened to slash my tires. 2 weeks ago the guy and I started talking about getting together. Well apparently he started sleeping with her again 2 months ago and didnt tell me and now she is preg again. The guy and I obviously have no relationship in the cards now besides friendship. Im wondering should I keep this guy as my friend or just let it go and cut my loses?

Normally I would say stand by your friends.
But here I would say, dump him. His girlfriend is too much drama, and while he can't control her, he is making a choice to keep her in his life.
We have all done dumb things, perhaps his biggest one was sleeping with this psycho chick and having a baby with her. It was a mistake but we have all done dumb things, but hopefully we learn from them. If he sleeps with her again, and they have another baby that's a really clear choice to make her a major part of his life. It is too late for him to ever have a "normal" life, he will have to deal with this. But you don't. Let him go.
It may seem cruel but it is the best for both of you. If he sees how she is forcing his friends away, maybe he will see what big problem she is and actually do something about it.

The thing here is....do u want him as a friend or something else? cause you said "the guy and I started talking about getting together" and after that you say "apparently he started sleeping with her again 2 months ago and didnt tell me and now she is preg again".
If hes just your friend, whats the problem with him sleeping with her? She doesnt like you? off course, since he loves you (according to what you think) you re a threat for her.
Hes a man and he needs sex and shes the supplier.. that why he comes back to her. Are you willing to turn yourself in a supplier? No, then let the guy alone in his relationship

I dont think you should get with him whatsoever. Keep him as a friend and if it causes problems, just stop talking tohim.
