Throughout college, i've resisted drama but it has found me. this is hard to follow but i have a gf who i been with for a yr. i thought we were going to break up. i sent a poem to another girl, not trying to hook up with her but trying to make her feel good and cheer her up. then things got strange bc we sorta liked each other based upon poetry. now i am trying to work things out with my gf, bc we reconnected. i told her about the weirdness with the other girl and she said that it hurt but we'd work it out. i was starting to get paranoid bc the friends of this other girl started to look at me strangely so i thought that she told them and i told a female friend of mine. then a mutual friend of my gf and the other told my gf that she knew about our correspondence. i don't know if the other girl told people or if it was the girl i told who is babbing. how can i find out? i an scared that i betrayed the trust of the other girl and that she told no one.

This is a really sticky situation. Communication! Talk to the woman you gave the poem to. Come straight out and ask her if she told anyone else about the poem. And in the future, if you want to really want to work on things with your girlfriend try not to cross the friendship line with your female friends. I am sure you weren't trying to create any drama but as you can see sometimes stepping over that line will surely bring drama your way.
Just be honest and open with the girl and then leave it all alone.

oh my. just leave it alone and let it go.all i can say if the other party looks like she is depressed, make sure you see to it someone helps her seek a counselor. play with fire? you know you will get burnt. everything will work out. be patient thanks

if she didnt tell anyone then i wouldnt worry about it and if your gf isnt mad then i wouldnt think that i betrayed anyone.
