20 seconds in a microwave or wave them closely over a burner...I don't like to steam them b/c it makes them overly sticky.

On a griddle. That's the best way. I've been making homemade tortillas since I was about 12. This microwave BS will make your tortillas too flimsy and doughy. The oven might work, but if you do it on the griddle or even a skillit, it will only take a couple of minutes, at most. Keep turning them until they have the desired amount of brown on them. Also, yes, you can do them on the stove on an open flame, but not on an electrical stove, you'll have a huge mess!

You put a griddle on the stove at medium heat and when it is heated place a tortilla on it and wait until one side heats then flip and wait. If it takes more then 30 seconds to heat one side then turn the heat up. When tortillas are hot put in a clean folded tea towel, it will keep the tortilla warm. I hope that I was some help.

Turn on the stove to medium, once warmed up put the tortilla right on the burner and let it sit 5 seconds, then turn over and repeat a couple times until it starts puffing up a little bit. I have a flat surface stove so you could use a non-stick pan to the same effect.

Heat them on the open flame of a gas stove, flipping so it won't burn. Another way is to heat a heavy skillet, place the tortilla on it, and press it down with something, then flip it, and do the same to the other side. This will make them taste more like home-made.

wrap them in aluminum foil and place in a warm oven (180 deg F) for about 10 minutes. THey will be hot so use an oven mitt to take it out of the oven. Keep wrapped in foil and then wrap a clean dishtowel around it for insulation. Serve and eat!

I keep mine (homemade, different texture) in a ziplock with wax paper between them. I open the bag a little, toss it in the microwave and nuke the stack for 1 minute. The steam from the bag keeps them soft and moist for folding.

10 minutes in the oven wrapped in foil
OR each one quickly in a non stick pan on the stove
OR you could place them inside a steamer while food is cooking
OR you could just pop them into a warming device (you know the ones you buy that warms soup slowly with a water dish or heater underneath)
Best option ..oven with foil wrap.
