My mother just gave me her old Rival crockpot and I accidentally broke the switch off. Has anyone here ever had any luck finding a replacement switch for a small appliance like this? I have done an internet search without any results. Places like repairclinic.com don't service these appliances, and any site that handles crockpot parts just has replacement knobs and lids. I need the 3 position rotary switch...help!

My knob has been knocked off for years. I just twist the little stick thing that hangs out... I usually start at either the right or left for a point of reference.

If that's not the issue... crockpots are CHEAP. Just go get a new one!

I doubt you are going to find much luck given a crockpot is not very expensive, thus appliance stores don't get much request for replacment parts.

Call Rival and tell them your problem; for goodwill, they just might send you a new switch free of charge .

Good luck.
