do what is best for you he made his decision doing things that could get himlocked up for a long time if you do not have any kids or you arent married you shouldnt have to pay for his mistakes. Now if you really love him and know that he feels the same way wait on your man. if not he will be ok

you know if you feel for the person that's locked up than you should explain that you are not dumping this person but explain to them that you'll try to be there when they get out, but on the other hand you'll be there for them as a friend in this unfortunate situation, don't sell yourself short and some things are better left unsaid unless you know that the new relationship in headed somewhere. Why hurt someone else even if they are gonna be locked up for a long time. Think about it this person has nothing but time on his hands and a long time to do nothing but think and I know you wouldn't want to be in a situation that you can't do anything about but think and sometimes thinkin too much is not a good thing. So be very careful in the way you handle this situation.............good luck

The one that got locked up made bad choices to get where he is. He must now accept the consequences of his actions. You cannot be expected to be punished for his crime and shouldn't have to put your life on hold. If you met someone you like and want to date then by all means do so..

If your guy in the pen was real significant in your life, think about how significant of a role he can play now. If there is a way for that to happen and you can deal with his time then stick with him. We have physical needs though so when my ex got sentenced to 30 to life, he told me to go for what I needed but to keep my heart for him. Well, that didn't work out and he ended up marrying one of the female guards so just live your life and don't worry about it. It really just all depends on how this all works out. Some people make it, most don't.

Ditch the guy who "got locked up". Why would you want to be with someone who puts himself in s position to "get locked up"?

Well what did they get locked up for? Are they a good person? If not then I would not go with them any longer. Afterall, they are a criminal. Would you want your children to be associated with such a thing?
