It doesn't bother me at all. I live thousands of kilometres from my brothers and sisters and Christmas is the time of the year when I miss them the most. In the great scheme of life Christmas is not really about Christ, but about family, togetherness, love, peace and giving to the less fortunate. That is the true meaning of Christmas and should be celebrated all year, not just the 25th of December. Joyeux Noel et Bonne Annee!

I don't think most Christians are bothered that non-Christians celebrate the secular aspects of Christmas--Santa, Rudolph, Frosty, the Grinch, and such.
What they would mind--and I would agree with them--is someone else telling them that they cannot celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday. Let each celebrate as he will.

I live in India, and we have a HUGE number of religions. Everyone celebrates everything! It's too cool. I'm rather shocked to hear from you that some christians in America resent others celebrating their festival. I don't know what to say......! Pure stupidity.

It does not bother people at all, on the contrary they rejoice and they all join the celebration. We have two Jewish families in the neighborhood who celebrate Christmas so ardently that we all look forward every Christmas to have them in our midst.

Christmas is a cultural occasion as nicely as a non secular one. identity somewhat all of us took the time to have fun unabashedly than exclude everybody because of the fact of a distinction in what it skill.

"Christmas" was never a pagan holiday. The Name comes from Christ and Mass. It was a special mass said to commemorate the birth of Christ.
The date that was chosen for the Christ mass was a pagan holiday that the church "redeemed" and made into a Christian celebration.
Go ahead and celebrate it. It is the pivotal event of all of history. Kings and princes, Emporers and Lords, Billions and Billions of people worldwide have commemorated it in some way for over a thousand years.

The only people that would mind non-christians celebrating chrstmas is the christians themselves becasue they believe that they were around way before any other religions.
The bible is very meddlesome and it teaches people to be gossips and slanderers and to push thier noses into everyone else's business.

Doesn't bother me that they celebrate it, although they do have a different reason for it.
