My ex and I went out for the first time since he broke up w/ me 2 months ago.
We had a great time, laughing, joking etc.. We discussed how we have not hooked up w/ other people and how we both are not interested in that.
At the end of the night he gave me a really, really long hug. I started to cry, when I looked up at him he was teary. He just looked at me and we hugged again. I told him I missed him, he said he missed me too. I asked if he was upset, he said "a little". He kissed me on the head and then hugged me again.
He told me to call him any time....I told him the same. We said we would get together again soon.
Im still in love w/ him and want him back. What should I do now to make that happen?

tell him how u really feel and that u wanna give it another shot.....i mean seriously the worst thing that could happen is that he says he wants to be friends for a while then mayb give it a shot.....either way he will b in your life and wut was his reason for leaving u anyhow??? sounds like he feels the same but mayb he is too shy or too afraid to ask u back out.....so take the shot and go for it girl....gl hun

This is hard because it sounds like he could have been coming from two different angles. On one hand it sounds like he has deep emotions over this and maybe would want to try again. On the other hand though, it could be that he realizes what you had won't ever be the same and he is grieving. I'd go for the first idea and just tell him you'd like to know straight out if there is a chance to reconcile.

well the relationship is broken for a reason...... but if that doesn't bother you then..... do what i did. i was in the same place you are. my boyfriend and i broke up after a year and 5 months. i really wanted him back so i asked him out to eat. i told him i needed him to help me w/ something. once there i told him i was interested in someone, but that something happened in the past that made things kinda weird, but that i wanted to be w/ that guy. what should i do? he said (w/ tears in his eyes cuz he thought it was someone else) that if i really wanted to be w/ him, than to go for it. so i did. i went in for a kiss. it made him so happy.and i told him what he told me to tell the "guy" do something like that. kiss him and tell him that you really want him back. maybe he's too shy to go up to you, so you make the first move.

why did u leave him in the 1st place? well forever reason try again to hook up again , suggest going out to get a bite to eat.

i know for sure that his Love is true for you...
for your own sake, give him another chance...
Go and tell him directly or write a card to him saying that you wnat to give it another go...
