Dont really wanna pay more than 300 for a pure bred pup anyone have any suggestions?

Go to www.akc.org & find breeders, but purebred dogs are expensive - if you want to not spend as much, click on the breed rescue there (of the breed you want) and get one at a lesser price while giving a dog a 2nd chance home. Good luck!

Try craigslist... check the for sale section.
Also, people are always giving them away in the free section... so maybe check that part too.

Newspaper classifieds also have pups for sale.

I agree with S B. Why not rescue an animal? There are so many out there in need of good homes.
