I love my best mate, but he's only just slpit with his girlfriend. Ive told him how I feel, but he says that at the moment he wants to stay single for a while.
Ive told him Ill wait. Good idea or not? Should I wait or should I let him go. I really REALLY love him!

hellO! When Harry Met Sally! but on the other hand, true love doesn't wait--it just happens. I wouldn't make yourself miserable playing the waiting game. it's not fair to you. if he's into you too, he'll come around shortly. it shouldn't take long. if not, i'd move on.

He's been honest and told you he wants to be single for awhile. It may also be his nice way of saying he's not into you like that.
But should you wait? NO!
Life goes on.
If you have a chance to meet someone else then go for it. If later on he decides he's ready to date again then he already knows how you feel about him and would most likely let you know if he was interested in seeing you.

It was a good move to tell him. If you hadn't it would just make you stress this way you know that he could maybe date you in future. However he said he wants to be single right now so if I were you I wouldn't go like for extreme dating but if someone you like comes your way you should definitely say yes.
