alarm works fine now. The battery seems to have a full charge. Anyone have problems simillar? Any ideas of what to do? I can't keep dropping money into a car especially when I don't have any money. (its a 2001)

Okay the alarm was disconnected before we had the mechanic work on it. And where I live, I really need the alarm, yes it worked after the mechanic worked on it. I got the car back on Wed. and it just started acting up again this morning (Monday)

When I try to start the car it sounds like its trying to start then after a couple of goes I just get a clicking sound. This is what happened before I took it to the mechanic but when I took it to him it wouldn't even click over. Yes, I have power, it isn't the battery. My first guess would have been the alternater but it worked for 4 days...

Agree with the first answerer - disconnect the whole alarm system - then tell us more info like what happens when you turn the key?

You took it to a Mechanic? There the problem, he was probably ASE Certified. Ha! Just joking, some do know what they doing.
Did it start after he fixed it? This happened later? Is the Starter turning the Engine and it just not Fire Up? This may help us know more.
