Well....let's see..what is the easiest way to explain this confusion about the "peanut butter" name. Well, my friend...peanut butter is named so...because it is made from PEANUTS not Peas! Ground up peanuts that because of the oil in them becomes liken to a buttery spread. You can have it extra-chunky, chunky or smooth...hence the name PEANUT butter.

help, i'm PEANUT BUTTER loopy.
