I am really having a hard time coming up with good gifts for my 25 year old boyfriend this Christmas. We've been together 2.5 years and we live together. Hits of the past have been video game systems, books about pirates or zombies, a handmade pirate coat, and other slightly "dorky" stuff.

He's just so hard to buy for and he's only interested in really unique and unusual gifts. He doesn't like clothes on holidays. We already have four video games systems with lots of games plus all the standard electronics such as DVD player, mp3 player, computer stuff, portable DVD player, digital camera, etc. And we buy any DVDs we want when they're released, plus we already have all the old movies we want. I've already gotten him a watch (which he hated even though it was a really nice Kenneth Cole), necklaces, and all the guy standards.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! The only thing I've found so far is piratedocuments.com if that gives you any idea as to what he likes.

Try to find something that's out-of-print or that he mentioned as being his favorite book, VHS video from a looong time ago (assuming he doesn't have it already) There are still many titles were never released on DVD- at least not by any studio- ARRR!!

You could probably find out without him suspecting by asking what his favorite game from the 90s was, or something like that....

If you've got an accomplice, have them take digital photos of you in pirate garb going all over town looking for his gift (telescope and all) and make a calendar out of it...

When your bf wakes up on Xmas morning and sees you laying down next to the tree all naked with bows strategically placed on your body, it is going to put a smile on his face like you have never seen before. You are the best gift that you can give to your bf so don't sweat it if you cannot find anything for him.

Merry Christmas to you all!!

When in doubt give a gift certificate to one of his favorite stores, a dining gift certificate, concert ticket. If not sure be polite and just ask him what he would like.

he likes MP3s and probably has a bunch of digital pics...

how about an external hard drive?

those will release the stress placed upon the hard drive of his computer and will put these items on a different hard drive where they won't fill his computer too fast...
