Peanut butter is good for you!

But much like everything else in this world too much of a good thing can be bad. You should try to keep your intake to around 2Tbs a day.

The fat found in peanut butter has been found to be similar to the kind found in olive oil making it good for the heart and maybe even better than the lower fat diets doctors usually recommend

Peanut butter eaters have even be found to be able to take off the fat and keep it off as long as they include some in their healthy diet.

Overall though moderation is the key. So enjoy but dont go overboard

Peanut butter can be for you, but be warned: Some types of peanut butter have partially hydrogenated oils (trans fat) in them, and you should avoid that stuff as much as possible. Also, many brands of peanut butter have a lot of added sugar, and that's not good for your waistline or your cholesterol levels. The best peanut butters are (1) natural peanut butter -- a lot stickier than Jif or Skippy but doesn't taste much different, and (2) Smart Balance Omega-3 and Omega-6 peanut butter -- has the added benefits of heart-healty fatty acids.

It depends on what kind of peanut butter you're eating. Jif and Skippy are made with partially hydrogenated oil which is the bad stuff that clogs your arteries. Try eating natural peanut butter, it's just peanuts and salt. It's MUCH better for you and tastes better too :) All peanut butter though is high in calories and fat, but also high in protein, and all in all, everything in moderation is fine!

Pure Peanut butter is good for you in moderation.
1. It's important that you buy peanut butter that doesn't contain added sugar, salt and trans fat. These ingredients will offset all the goods in peanuts.
2. Peanut butter is high in protein, but it's like dark Chocolate, they are only good in moderation. 2 tablespoon of peanut butter contain 25% of your daily fat intake. So, it's definitely not good to eat it like a horse. (not all good fat can be consumed without reservation, even olive oil can not be taken too too much a day)
3. one suggestion: eat it with high fibre crackers or bread, the fibre will help curb your craving.

I believe Peanut Butter is good for you, but in moderation. It all depends on your weight, your overall diet and exercise to determine if how much you are eating is good or or bad for you. If you're not overweight by too much, and you enjoy it, then by all means, PB it away!! :)

I love PB too!!! Jif No Sugar Creamy is my fav!!!!!!! YUM!

it is great for you...in moderation. Brands like Jif, Skippy & Peter Pan might not be as good for you because they are loaded with sugar. Stick with Laura Scudders with the oil on top. It has less sugar and more natural ingredients. Don't forget to mix it up before eating!

It's high in fat, but it's considered to be "good fat". If you eat too much, maybe you could be taking in a lot of extra calories, so try to be moderate. You should try to make yuor own. Also, try cashew butter-- SO GOOD! (but more expensive)
