try getting the top section of your hair (like you would if you wear doing it half up and half down) then instead of using a band twist the hair push it up a bit and clip it with loads of lil pins. It sits up kinda like its backcombed and noone nos how your hair is staying up without a band.

Think 80's like david bowie in "labrynth" or go for a long bob with asymetric "baby bangs" and then finger wave it. Peek-a-boo colors can really chage the look of what you have without cutting

straighten , cw-if in the front and back curled
curled with a messy bun and two lower plates on every side of the back of hair
curly with a French plate
straight with lots of loose plates
