Im getting married next year.I have many tattoos and the one thing my mom wants at the wedding is for them to be covered.I was already planning to do this if I could find a good cover up or even a dress to fit these needs. The only ones that will show are,one on each shoulder, and the one on the top of my foot.Does any of you know a good make-up coverup for tattoos that you have used?I'll only be wearing it durring the wedding, not at the reception,so staying power dosn't matter. Thanks

Jane Iredale makes an excellent cover-up designed for that or really dark birth marks

It will likely be handiest as painful because it was once the primary time it was once performed! The tattoo will need to be thoroughly healed despite the fact that, so there will likely be no scar tissue. If the tattoo is bumpy, it sounds adore it might both now not be healed up but, or it was once dug too deep into your dermis, so cross and speak to the tattoo artist first to get an thought of the layout and so on, and they're going to be ready to suggest you-they will not cost for this. Good success!

Ummm, ok.
If it was me, I would not use any make-up.
You got your tattoo's for a reason. Be proud of them..
If you get any make-up it will probably rub off on your pretty dress, so don't say " staying power doesn't matter " because it does.
In all honesty no matter how harsh it sounds to you or anyone else reading this, forget what your mom thinks, it's YOUR wedding.
And if you yourself doesn't want people to see it, you're kind of stuck in a situation. Your high heels will show the top of your feet. Soo the foot tattoo will be exposed. The dress on the other hand, long sleeved wedding dress sound good?
If you want make-up go for it...
But if it was me, id let what I got for a reason to show, even on the most wonderful day of my life.

I've heard Dermablend works, and it stays put. Try testing it out before the wedding though (I don't want it to rub off on your dress).

My friend used Dermablend for her wedding. It's a little costly but works really well.

ben nye makes theater makeup and is often used to cover tattoos. it is very durable and long wearing. i wore some of their makeup for halloween and it stayed on for a good seven hours with no touchups.

tell your mom that those tattoos are marks of who you are. and your wedding day is YOUR day, a day where your fiance' is appreciating you in your entirety. hiding your tattos would be hiding a part of you that i'm sure he loves. don't cover them! show off your artwork to your friends and family. if your mom really loves you and wants you to be yourself, she should understand
