What is this?
Hi there, i am a 24 year old male and have been having some health issues. In jan 05 i had a severe back pain radiating into groin and then the next day i had severe urinary symptoms..still ther. hesitancy, dribbling. I was scared and didn't go to a doctor for 6 months. In that time i developed itching in my groin and anus which has stayed with me till this day everyday... I have also had a back pain for a year that is a dull pain in my lower back. I have pains that shoot into my legs and into my feet. I have had bowel troubles from diarhea to constipation. I have been to 3 doctors who just said it was stress. They did do bloodwork which came back negative nad so did my urine except for sugar in my urine, but the doctor did a test for diabetes and said it wasn't that. As a kid i used to get nose bleeds and also i did notice that wounds weren't healing right. They seem to be healing better now than they were.TY

sheesh... talk about being stubborn to nip thing in the bud when symptoms first arise.... you may want to get a few different oppinions... all of what's going on can not just be caused by stress... I know here where I live we have a phone # to call for an " ask a nurse " they are really good at figuring out things... by you telling them your symptoms... look it up on the yahoo local for the town/state you live in for an ask a nurse #... best wishes and good luck!

I'm going to give you some ideas that will maybe open some doors on the back pain. You see I have osteoarthritis in the severe degenerative stages. It may be a slipped, bulging, disintegrating or damaged disc. It could also include the vertebrae. The symptoms include this: the pain radiates to the lower groin, in the legs and the feet, it sometimes burns in the toes and right legs, all are direct symptoms of damaged disc. It will take MRI's or CAT's scans to find the rel problem. You have to do it before it become real bad.

There is recovery and control but, you have to reach out for it, they're not going to come knocking at your door. Good luck P.S. it will also cause constipation, constriction (plugged) erectile dysfunction, all this in turn creates hemorrhoids, one thing leads to another.

Hi Ty,
It appears that you may have need of either a specialist or a better specialist including internist. Keep your faith, maybe in the meantime try a variety of doctors from holistic to allergist to even chiropractor. If you haven't already, I suggest the internist first or a better internist than the one you've been to. My belief is if there's a symtom it's a signal to search for a cure. Sometimes it takes awhile to find the answer. All of your symtoms may not stem from the same problem. Due to stress I developed symtoms that revealed lupus. So try to stay as stress free as possible because stress is a silent killer in its own right. I wish you well and hope you are soon free of you pain and inconvenience.

Yikes, that sounds miserable! Have you thought about maybe a reaction of a developed food allergy? Try cutting out dairy and wheat to start. It might be a combination of an allergy and stress, stress will do terrible things to the body. You should also try some stress relieving exercises. Take care of your self, it's the only for sure thing you will have for the rest of your life. Hope you start feeling better soon, Good luck.
Here is a link of some good ways to relieve stress.

Keep going to Dr's. Sounds as if you have a real problem and no one has been able to find it. Don't delay any longer - take charge of your health - it could be a matter of life or death. Remember that half of all Dr's finished in the lower half of their class. Go to the Mayo Clinic or an internal medical Dr. Keep going till you get some answers. Good luck

Sounds almost like some kind of allergic reaction to something. You need to continue seeking medical help until you get the answer. You could have a very serious condition.

Please keep looking. One day a good doc will click with you and then you can get to the bottom of what's troubling you.

I wish you all the best!
