He was the word. He didn't have to write it.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Ans: Bible is not the word of God. Its scripture written by the prophets and the apostles, supposedly inspired by God. The idea is that God revealed the future and his mandate to man through visions, dreams and thoughts. The prophets and the apostles sees them and write them down as best as they can describe it. Thus the book itself doesn't really mean anything, ie you can burn the bible and it wouldn't offend any christians, but rather the meaning behind the words of the bible that matter.

The gospels were written a few decades after Jesus's death. I think that the Bible would be more persuasive if people actually took notes on Jesus's sermons and teachings instead of waiting long after he died to write about them.

thats why the bible is corrupted. people hate to hear this.
the earliest of the gospel to written was 70 years after jesus. none of the gospel writers met jesus!
the bible starts with; Gospel according to mathiew, or john or whatever, not jesus.
in this case i will be right to say that the bible is novelistic!

He is the Living Gospel.

He IS the Word of God. John 1:1 -- And wouldn't it be another excuse for people to rail on Him if He wrote about Himself. "That egotistical, cocky......" ??? 4 of his disciples wrote first hand accounts. I think that's enough. He was busy doing the teaching and healing, his men just wrote it down as it happened.

After all that he did for us? you want an autobiography too? The least we could do is pen his life and wisdom for him,it is ultimately for our benefit.
