When your young most people aren't going to find the one. Personally I think you should explore relationships with multiple people so you can find out how you like to be treated. I've have a friend whos 21 and has dated his girl for 7 years. I also know people that haven't lasted more then a few days or weeks. After 2 or 3 months you should be able to rate if this is a relationship you want to be in. Most don't last more then a few months in my observation.

Not long. Although some do stay together and get married and end always wondering what "could have been" had they been a bit smarter.

it totally depends on the situation and the people at hand.
my relationships only last about a month a piece, because i find teenage boys to be idiotic. my best friend, however, has been going out with her boyfriend for about a year and a half now.
each person is totally different and unique, and so are their relationships.

my longest relationship so far was 2 yrs and that was not on and off......we ended up engaged and then broke up...........but then my husband and i got together and after 3 months we got engaged and we are now married and it was less than a yr that we got married.....and we are very happy.....so it depends on the people....if yall are happy and spend the right amount of time together hopefully forever ull be together....gl hun..if ud like to chat more u can either IM me or email me at hot12flirt@yahoo.com

They vary.
But I would say college is the big divider. Few high-school couples serve the first year of college (even if they go to the same school).

some last for years and get married. Others think ther in love and are hating each other the next wee.

wow... well I was with my highschool b/f for 2 years.. High School relationships do not normally have the fairy tale ending but it is the most special of them all... have fun with it ... don't worry about endings ... sometimes (very seldom but its possible) they may last forever

It depends on how well it will go on their relationships.
The relationship with one another will 1st of all will be Respect!
The 2nd in relationship is Honesty!
The 3rd in relationship is Love!
The 4th in relationship is Trust!
