Don't take the word of a bunch of people, who may not know what they are talking about. Go to the doctor. It may not be anything, but then again it might. Don't take chances with your health.

If it is on your right side near the bottom of the rib cage almost feels like it is "under" the rib cage it could be your gall bladder
I'm not saying that you have gall stones, sometimes your gall bladder acts like this. It wouldn't hurt for you to see your Doctor about it.

have you been working out? Playing sports? Lifting heavy objects?

Reapeat the exercises you were doing and see if one of them hurts exactly where you are hurting in your stomach.
If it does hurt then it is a pulled muscle.

Have a hot bath and find some bath salts with muscle relaxant in.

A wild guess here ,that a rib could be crossed ,or worse heart problem, see a Doc,this is not the place for that symptom .

Stand straight up, now look down. Can you see your toe's? If you can't, loose a few pounds.
