u should take it back to where u got it from. there should be a guarantee leaflet in the box which should have a number on it.

Your statutory rights (UK) say that you can take it back to the shop that you bought it and get a replacement.

Your contract is with the shop, not the manufacturer.
Return it to the shop for a refund or replacement.
