Plead his case, explain the situation about your family, find a good layer, and PRAY REALLY HARD... sometimes God tests us, you can let this get you, or you can clng to God and fight for your husband. I will be praying for you.

There could many different things going on with his case. He could have hidden something from you that the U.S. Gov't located, thus making him more deportable than others. Yes, I do agree that many people not just illegals don't always get a fair shake with the justic system. But keep praying and maybe things will work out, but if not, get prepared to either live with him in Mexico or live without him here. That would be your ultimate decision.

Just luck. I know that does not sound right, but it is true. I've been practicing immigration law for over 7 years and it is 30% justice and 70% luck. Christian immigrants get thrown in jail and deported every day, along with babies, pregnant women, the disabled, people dying of terminal diseases and their family members. I've seen it all. I've also seen criminals get a lucky break and get to stay even when they don't qualify. No rhyme or reason, just random luck. Get an attorney and get ready to pay a bunch of money.

I know of two people, both from the same country, both applied for asylum. One was approved and one wasn't. All things are pretty much equal between the two applications so I can only think there is a limited number of approvals for asylum available each year.
I assume you have a lawyer. If you don't, you need to get one ASAP. BTW, your religion really has nothing to do with whether or not he gets to stay here, nor should it have.
Good luck.

Loving the Lord is great- obeying the law would be much better.
I have no advice- this situation no matter how unfortunate, is of your own making.
All illegals once discovered need to be deported.

What a story! So many crimes and implied moral violations and you are not in prison as an accessory...By that confession you should be! And save the Christ cr@p! I think even he would take exception to invading anothers home/country!
Question...Are you both to stupid to follow American law, or just Morally lacking? A redundant and rhetorical question on my part, but it makes a point!

Hire a attorney that specializes in Immigration. Hopefully they should be able to solve the case on your husband.
