My doc mentioned it as a possible anti-inflamitory alternative that is slightly less likey to mess with my stomach. I know it's where aspirin comes from, so I guess that makes sense. Anybody ever take it? What do you think of it?

White willow bark does work that's what they put in Lakota the medication you can take in pill form or rub on to your joints. I have tried it and it does work so go ahead and give it a try. You have to look at it this way when your in pain you have nothing to lose, and if your Doctor recommended it go for it. It might be a good idea to take calcium and glucosimine at the same time. The Glucosimine will take a few week to make a difference but it does. Good luck to you. There is nothing worse than pain.
