Spruce and pines are safe for parakeets usually.
They can be planted in aviaries or in the home can be used for xmas trees with indoor birds. I would be more worried about the lights on the tree if the bird was allowed to chew on the wires. Also Christmas decoration may be poisonous to the birds so please be very careful.
I own a pet store and keep all sorts of birds.

Well I dont know but ask an vetnarian about Christmas tree
like Blue Spruce: reason why because that depends how parakees reacts among that item if something looks ok doubble

They sure can be , any Christmas tree or other heavy objects that fall on your bird can be harmful or fatal !
