Calm down, she will be just fine. It will not change her. It will make her a better pet and you are a responsible pet owner for having her spayed. I understand your fears. You've done the right thing for her and for you. And she will be back to her old self in just a day or two. Please don't worry. What a caring "kitty mommy" you are!

Oh I totally know how you feel. When I had my cat fixed i cried my eyes out while he was gone lol. I know its very hard to leave your baby with complete strangers, but remember they are trained certified animal lovers just like you and I. As for the Anesthesia its giving in the smallest amount possible, its very rare to hurt animals. When you go to get your cat the vet will give you a paper about what will be going on and all the danger signs. Now the hard part about having your pet fixed is sometimes it will change their personality a little bit. This doesnt mean that your cat wont love you anymore or not want to be around you or play. Its more like a change that they matured. Sit back and relax, you are a good owner, you take great care of your cat!!

Your cat will be fine as long as you took her to a good vet. In fact, the day will probably be easier on her than you, because she will have some nice drugs to help her through the day! Seriously, you are doing the right thing, and even though it's very hard for you at this moment, there's a good chance you have extended her life by many years, and avoided a lot of health problems. Find something to do to keep yourself busy for the day, and keep your mind off it. Hundreds, if not thousands, of cats are spayed in the US every day. A good vet can do it through an incision less than an inch long, and most kitties seem back to normal in 48 hours or less. Good Luck!!

You could pick up a bottle of Rescue Remedy on your way to pick her up this afternoon. It is about $16 at a health food store. You just shake the bottle well and put three to four drops on the fur between her ears. It will help her immensely with any shock, fear, trauma from the surgery or the experience of being left by you.
Use it often, four times per day at least for the first few days. It is energetic in its nature and treats her emotional state. It is utterly benign and cannot harm her in any way nor interfere with any pain medication the vet gives you for her.

Your cat should be fine! Spaying is something that most vets are expert on, and if you checked yours well, you'll just have to trust him.
Most vets will call you after the procedure, but if not, give them a call and check on her progress.

i might take him back to the vet. i think of he has an infection back. I had a male cat that replaced into peeing all distinctive places and took him to the vet. They taken care of him for urinary tract an infection. It does no longer pass away, so i desperate to take him to a distinctive vet for a 2d opinion. They did a xray and he had bladder stones or crystals. He had to have surgical operation to eliminate them. there replaced into sixteen of them. those could be risky in the event that they convey a blockage.

She'll be fine. There aren't many kitties I know that like to go to the vet for any reason, and you may have to spend time petting and reassuring her when she comes home.

she will be OK, many cats get this procedure done. she may be a little mad at you for leaving her there, but other than that she'll be fine. it's good u did this while she was young instead of doing it when she was to old .
