How come South Park can make fun of Jesus but no one can make fun of Mohammed or Islam?

There is such a double standard here. Everyone mocks Jesus but oooo we can't make fun of Moe.

South Park has made fun of just about everybody--even atheists. It doesn't discriminate. That's half the point the writers seem to be making: we ALL take ourselves entirely too seriously.

SP certainly has taken shots at Islam. Censorship of shows that depict Muhammad was the central theme of the two-part show that ended last season and began this one. Comedy Central even chose to censor that episode, blanking out physical depictions of Muhammad. The writers obviously agree that there is a double standard.

There was a cartoon in our state news paper in Australia depicting an image of Moe> so then churches and government buildings were set on fire up to a month later because of it. so the paper went back to making fun of Jesus and every one "took it on the chin." It was crazy. In retro jesus followers are not violent I GUESS

Muslims don't mock Jesus or Isa peace be upon him. Muslims don't mock any prophets because its a major sin in Islam to mock any prophets or Allah. The reason nobody can say anything to Prophet Muhammad pbuh is because Muslims are very sensitive and defensive towards any slander towards him.

South Park is truly nasty for doing this, for making fun of such Holy Figures, God will judge those people accordingly, all I would say is feel pity for the sins they are accumulating.
