My 'cousin' (and trust me, thats only by blood) has been staying with me for the past 3 weeks for rent free. She left her home and no one would take her in but me, the rest of the family was going to let her go to a shelter. But anyways, I had to make her leave because she was very disrespectful to me and my house. She would be in MY house talking about me on the phone to other people WHILE I was at home! She also would stay out late and wake us to get in the house, and couldnt even clean up after herself half the time. I know its the holidays, but the relationship we have has always been lopsided and I am just fed up with her. (she's the same cousin from my 2 "cousin or enemy" questions I posted) I swear I am the most kind-hearted person, especially when it comes to her. I have let her get away with leaving her kids with me, lending her money and clothes, paying her way at clubs, driving her around town, and her cussing me out for years, and I am at the end of my rope with her

When we used to go to the club, she would wait in line and when it was time to go in whe would say "I aint got no money!" like I'm just obligated to pay her way.

Every car I've owned, she has had more than 2 dozen rides in. When she got her car last summer I only rode in that thang 1 time, and sat in it 1 other time.

One day she left her BABY with me with NO baby milk, and I had to buy baby milk and take him to the hair dresser with me!

When she goes to the club, she goes in my closet to get dressed, then gets mad when you ask for your stuff back.

She steals clothes out my closet, and gets an attitude when you confront her about it.

She pushes up on my dates or male friends, commenting a little too much about how cute or sexy they are.

She is a user!

She always has these attitudes or cusses me out or threatens to fight me, and I just brush it off cause we're family (but if she ever put her hands on me, we gone rumble!)

She is just a selfish, immature, *****

you were right to toss her. she probably needs to land on her butt before she sees that her actions have put her where she is in life. You've done all that you could and more. Have a Great Holiday and know that you will be blessed for your efforts.

you are not wrong for putting the free loader out. Your cousin has to grow up and take responsbility for her actions. If she has to disrespect you in your own home then don't feel bad for kicking her *** out. THe next time she asks you for something bring that up in her face and let her know there is no excuse for her behavior.

Well, maybe she'll change somehow......just be sure not to fall into her traps again!!!

obviously she doesnt realize you are he only one in her corner. she is ungrateful and needs to be happy you've been there for her. by you "cutting her off" she'll realize how much she needs you and then maybe she'll come to her senses. you guys should have a long talk and set CLEAR guidelinsa nad boundaries for the relationship. "Sometimes blood isnt thicker than water", but I hope it works out.
