Why do people give me such a hard time about being a red head? I get called all kinds of things, usually by women while I'm out a clubs. You know the type, dyed platimun blonds standing around in groups all looking like barbie dolls and whispering and laughing at me as I walk past, god I hate them!! What is wrong with having ginger hair?

It's jealousy, they have to dye their hair, and they all look the same, you stand out from the crowd, so it's their insecurities that turn them into bitches, be proud of your red hair...the future's bright...the future's ginger.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having Ginger Hair as I have it myself and went through the same thing. There can only really be a couple of things wrong with people who call names, jealousy, spite and a good old-fashioned need to be different but don`t want to be the first out of the group to show how to do it. Cheer up, the "children" will soon learn and you will know that you are better than them in the long run.

Its a fashion thing, and people acting like sheep. They are frightened or intimidated by difference.

I think its crazy the turn around in peoples opinions to my hair colour. When I was younger I was more orangey ginger and used to get called names all the time. Now I'm older my hair has lightened to a still ginger, but closer to strawberry blonde colour. All I get now is praise about my hair. The funny thing is it always comes with a hidden dig abou gingers though, like aren't you lucky to have ginger hair that actually looks nice. I still get ginger jokes with my friends, but I think these are funny, and love taking the piss out of my hair colour. I think its good to be unique, and its even better if you can laugh at yourself, for your differences.

I have more of a problem with my skin tone, that goes with having ginger hair. I go bright red when I get at all nervous, people can read me like a book

You provide the answer in your question.

You know the type, dyed platimun blonds standing around in groups all looking like barbie dolls

You stand out from the crowd and they know that because of this you will be more noticable than them. One man approaching a group they have to compete to get his attention. One man approaching you has all of your attention.

Enjoy your red hair knowing that it makes you unique and you arn't trying to give the image of a toy.

We were just talking about this on Friday, The bar maid was absolutely stunning and she had red hair. It was beautiful and well conditioned. Amy Nutal off Emerdale has red hair and she's gorgeous. I hate bleached hair, it ruins your hair, it makes it go all dry and like straw. Natural blonde is better but you don't really see many of them do you. Fake people like that are only interested in their apperance and nothing else. I wonder what natural colour they are? They'll be worried when the bleach wears off and all their natural hair is ruined. I had a friend who was blonde and she would say things like 'why would he like her? she's not even blonde' she thinks just because you're blonde you're attractive. It's only the colour of your hair it doesn't affect the way your face looks.

Absolutely nothing wrong with ginger hair! Rest assured these name calling souls are definately jealous!! Flick and toss your hair to your hearts content .... Dont let their insecurities get to you! It's pure jealousy! Smile at them, show you really are proud of your natural colour and dont give them another thought!

They're probably one, or all, of the following:
a) sad insecure little madams who need to sort their self-image problem out, and think that beeyatching about others is the way to do it;
b) just dimwitted,
c) superficial imbeciles,
d) jealous that you have more than a few brain cells and a personality.

My advice would be to tell the daft little bints to "blow it out (their) ar$es", at your earliest convenience. Failing that, just smirk at them condescendingly and walk away.

I have been dying my hair red for years! It's a lovely colour, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

It's because they have nothing better to do apart from act childish. Maybe on the inside they want to be you. Ginger hair rules! So cute :)

Stuff them, they are just jealous because you have naturally beautiful coloured hair, whereas they have to reach inside a bottle to look remotely attractive (if thats possible). Be proud - women like that don't have 2 brain cells to rub together anyway, let alone be the authority on hair and beauty.
