Is anyone else getting freaked out by all the E.Coli stories?! What is the problem? How do you protect yourself from this stuff? First I read Fast Food Nation, now I hear this stuff, so I'm finding it easy to avoid fast food!! I guess that's one good thing but, it's not only fast food, is it? Terrible!

Well if you ask me it all boils down to a couple basic anadequacies, first of all this generation of people working in the food ( or any ) industry are generally lazy asses and do as little as humanly possible to get by, now I know that sounds kinda of broad but think about this kids for sometime now have been getting worse and worse due to the fact that so many kids now have everything given to them and don't think they need to earn anything and figure they can take that attitude into the real world when they find out that they do need to work to pay the bills, well their bad attitude carries through with them as well as their lazy lax work habits, well the industry is getting full of these types, so that makes it real easy for things like this to happen, all yoyu need is a few "don't giva crap" attitudes in the chain to really create problems.

I don't buy that story about animal feces being washed down into the crops. I remember back in the 50's, my father used to buy maneuer for our garden every year, it never bothered us and all that is , is animal feces with hay mixed into it. Pestacides! the U.S. outlawed some pestacides in the US and turned around and sold it to South American countrys. They use them on their crops and sell the crops to us. Now, I tend to believe that it has something to do with, being able to grow more crops for less money, and still be able to stay within the government guide lines.

Illegals poop everywhere and never clean themselves up and then pick all out vegetables and the government has approved use of human poop as "organic" fertilizer. Eat Organic anyone.

Illegal aliens pick the lettuce, they deficate in the fields, they never wash! What is better, get cheap labour and Kill people or pay more and not have these issues!
