I think one of the qualities hardest to find in some one is honesty.
The truth can be hard and sometimes lying is just easier. In these times you always have to question how well do you really know someone. But with honesty comes trust and loyalty and that makes for a beautiful relationship.
When looking for someone I think it is important to be open and flexible. It's important not to judge to quickly and to have a forgiving heart. That's not to say that you shouldn't set guidelines and boundaries for yourself.
You have to figure out what you willing to compromise on verses what is a deal breaker. No one is perfect but when it gets to the point where the person your with isn't punching enough of the right buttons. Chances are they are the wrong person for you.

Affection & honesty. most guys are not affectionate like i am and in my experience they are not honest in some way...to me honesty is also being able to be a grown up and tell me when your feelings change about our relationship and that is hard to find in a guy. b/c they have those qualities, doesnt mean you should give up everything else and forgive greater faults. somewhere there is a guy or gal for us and they will have everything we want and what others may think are greater faults are not that to us...everyone's opinions of "greater" faults is different so its hard to generalize greater faults.

are the hardest to find in any sex I would say.
If I found some one with these qualities then The looks do not have to be that great but they can not be butt ugly I will still have to look at them.
But I have found the guy for me has it all the looks and the qualities that I am looking for.
Remember everyone has different qualities that they want in a person.

someone whose not the least bit self- centered is the hardest to find. i might forgive greater faults, if they didn't lie cheat steal or murder.

sometimes you have to lok beyond the looks of a person to find a nice charming guy....looks arent everything either......so if a guy isnt so goodloking he could be the nicest guy out ther and the guy could be the hottst thing out there and he could hurt you in more then one way
