I say don't cut carbs cut starch. and not for breakfast for dinner. Your brain needs carbs to function. You body does not really need starch but that's the best place to get carbs. I am saying this because I think you like most are confusing carbs with starch, you are trying to cut out breads, pancakes, waffles things of this nature that's starch and I say eat it for breakfast because your brain get the carbs it needs and your body has all day to burn the starch. I say stop the starches after 12 noon and only eat meat and vegetables. You will feel fuller, longer. I don't know if you are breast-feeding but you can a lose a lot of weight with that also. When my mom breast fed my sister she didn't go on any diet at all and lost 30lbs in 4 mths. just from breast-feeding.

Low carb diets are not to be recommended to anyone who is still (I guess) nursing. Your baby gets all the nutrition through your milk and by cutting out carbs, you'll cut out the vitamins and minerals that your baby needs. All the low carb diet gurus don't recommend this, so it's up to you to decide what to do.
