Actually it can be Eve, Eva, Ewa, etc. They all the same name and meaning. Yes, I watch many of these as I find them interesting as I compare what they find with what the Bible already said, long ago. God created Science, He did put a basic structure in place to give everything a reason. A tree is not just there, it is governed by Laws of existence. Heck, the ones I find funny was when people thought the world was flat and all along the Bible had told it was round. AND Germs, man, scientists really thought they found something with the Microscope, when Thousands of years before, the Bible already explained this.

Yes it is true! They are ridiculous. They never listen to an argument and they never open up there brain. They always have some lame excuse to thwart arguments that they cannot possible/rationally defend. Its like they can't grasp the concept. That is why they persist in this manner. Or if they do grasp it they are in a state of denial. What a way to live your life. Embrace the fact that evolution happens. With out this concept almost all of modern science would crumble. Medical research, geology, physics, anthropology, biology, all gone. I don't know about you but I want my Doctor, who is looking at my cancer, to know about evolution, germ theory of disease, etc. And not just standing there praying I will get better.

P.S. I think some of you are smoking something dipped in formaldehyde. A.K.A Smoke
Gary: Grow up.
Oh yea. Its just a theory argument. That's a good one. I guess you have not noticed but its a "theory" that has been in full effect for over a 150 years. No body can scientifically refute it. Where are you people. Here in reality. I bet you think the Cubs won the world series last year, or something.

I'm not born again i have no idea what that even means, but i do believe in God and in Jesus and in the bible. I also do believe in evolution. The bible isn't a big enough book to give all the microscopic details of how the world came about through evolution, so it just says God worked for 6 days and rested on the 7th. The days in time were probably thousands and thousands of years.

Yeah.... believe it or not... some people come to Christ through a thoughtful consideration of science.

I have bachelors degrees in Chemistry and Biology. I am a practicing physician and consider myself to be quite intelligent. I am trained as a scientist and I believe in God, His Son Jesus Christ and His salvation. I believe that the Bible is to be taken literally.

All of this through study of both science and religion. My question to you is, have you actually studied the Bible or are you dismissing it as without merit as you claim Christians do with science.

True ignorance is found in the ignoring of all evidence. Looking only to science will never tell you "why" we were created. Evolution does not tell you "how" we are created, nor does it attempt to.

I'll pray for you.

Yes I love the discovery channel, as well as animal planet, toon network, pbs, and many others. I do not rely on TV to get my life lessons or belief system. I have also read umpteen gazillion book in my lifetime and find many things and theories fascinating. However, I believe in God and that will not change regardless of what someone says on TV or on paper.

Have watched them all, and still, Evolution is just a theory, not a proven fact. To really debate this issue you must anser one question before any other. How long is God's day? Until you can find out that, we have no starting point.

P.S.

Why should I kill you? That last bit sounds like a death wish.

I'm sorry I don't entirely understand your question, it's somewhat incoherent. I think what you are askng is whether or not any of us have watched any specials about evolution, genetics, biology, etc... on any of the major sci channels. If so then the answer is yes, I have. I have not yet seen anything to convince me that evolution is correct, and what's more is that these programs are purely one sided. They preach carbon dating as irrefutable and evolution as though is were itself a religion. I'm sorry, but such programs are simply not acceptable proof of evolution.

Yep, studied evolution in school, have studied Darwins theory, the evidence, completely understand DNA and natural science.

Point, we can find complete fossils of Dinosaurs, yet are unable to find a complete evolutionary fossil. Oh thats right, we changed so FAST over billions of years its impossible to find bones that show the changes. Oh, and humna bodies decay, so you cant find a complete one. What, Dinos didnt decay?

I admit, its a plausablie theory, just not enough proof for me.

Evolution, lacks proof. Creation lacks proof. So, through faith, I side with God.

The bible is not a book of science, essentially why not how. Science books are about how, not why. The two are not mutually exclusive and if people would stop confusing the purposes of each, we could all get a long much better.

The story of Adam and Eve probably would only relate to the first human beings that realized God's existance - in other words, they probably symbolize the first two humans that evolved from the hominid's primitive life. As for the seven day thing, it IS possible, but the seven days are in God's days - not ours.
