Why would you want to do it?

Aluminium is the most abundant ore in the Earths surface. True it takes a lot of energy to refine it in the first place but it can be recycled extremely cheaply and easily over and over again!

Indeed a lot of alternative energy resources such as windmills actually depend on aluminium!!!

You cannot replace a metal with an energy source but in terms of energy required - once aluminium has been refined, every time it is recycled it becomes cheaper and cheaper. Therefore there is probably nothing more beneficial to mankind or the Earth in what we use!!!!

You cant. You could use an alternative energy sources to make the processing and recycling of aluminum less damaging to the environment.

Or...you could come up with a replacement for aluminum that is more easily recycled or less damaging to produce then aluminum.

what the hell are you talking about ? What does alternate energy sources have to do with Aluminum ?

By taking several alloys and making a light weight but strong material that we can use in engines and aircraft production...

Wait... that's Aluminum....

Never mind...

You may want to rephrase your question I guess.

aluminium is a metal and a common material with many uses and not a source of energy.
