One of my friend who is a very serious born again activist. Ones told me... End of this year , ( and that is 2006 ). the world is going to end ( I dont know what sort of a end ) Then the God will come to this world and take only the ones who are born again. The rest of us will stay here with Satan . Later Mr.Satan will mark 666 on each and everyones back of the neck. Including me. Actually that's what the Born again chirch has brainwashed him. He is not a that much dumb person. But he is very serious about that. Today I called him to ask about the visit of his GOD. He was acting really busy and some how finally re stated - It 2008 , not 2007 or 2006.

The Lord will come again. There are signs all around that are leading to this, but NO ONE knows the exact time it will happen. Only God does. I am born again also. Everyone who believes Jesus is The Christ has been born again. You should do a little reading and studying for yourself. It's a personal decision. The Holy Bible is God's Word.

I think your friend is not too far off on what he is saying, and I would suggest that you listen to him. There are a few thing that need clarifying, and one is that no one knows when the Lord will return. You cannot put a date on it, it may be soon, or not for many years, but it is going to happen. The "born again" ones will be taken and all the rest left, and satan in the form of an antichrist will require everyone to take a mark upon them without which they will not be able to buy or sell anything. I don't think brainwashing is the issus since you can simply read hese things clearly in the Bible, so it is not coming out of his head but straight out of the Bible.
Reelation 13:16 "And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name."

Ask him what the basis of his conclusions are. Are his conclusions a result from what another person or the church he attends tells him? What is the backbone of his faith? Is what he believes in scriptural or faith based?
There have been many claims that the world would end at certain times but only God knows when that day will be. It is not written and was not even revealed to the son of God when that day would be so how come "man" can determine this?

One of the biggest mistakes that 'prophecies' believer makes is setting the date. Jesus said that we not know the day or the hour, but we will know the sign of times. The biggest one happened in 1948, when Israel became a nations. (Ezekiel 34:13

From the year 0, people have been predicting this.
Don't listen to it. People become obsessed with this stuff anf there is NO biblical proof of what he is speaking of.
In "The Divine Conspiracy", it is argued that the "Kingdom" is to be created on earth by us. Because, we are the body of Christ, and this is our task in life. Not, to just wait for the end of the world as some do.
I don't know why people get so caught up in all of that doomsday stuff, but maybe it helps to make them feel more important, and a part of something bigger than themselves.

Jesus does not know when His Father God is going to send Him to return for His church/bride, so what makes your friend more knowledgeable than Jesus? We are living in the end of times, and Jesus will return in our life time, but the exact time is unknown and only known by God Himself.
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Show this scripture to your friend so they do not continue to presume what is incorrect to be correct.

No one will know untill the day it happens and if they say they do they are either very nisslead or trying to misslead you. as for the mark or satan I think the 666 has become a by word it is not corect at all.

No one knows the time and day of Jesus second coming to this world, it is only God the Father who knows, But Jesus gaves us some manifestation of his coming.
666 is not mark of the beast, it is the number of man. please read the book of Revelation
The number of man and the mark of the beast are two separate things that was mentioned in the scripture.
The number of man is his identity. while the mark of the beast is his doctrine, traditions, religious belief, and religion per se.

first of all no one knows when the world is going to end, not even Christians. but yes, when Jesus does come back only born again believers will be taken with Him to Heaven, and the rest will be left here to go through the tribulation, where you have a chance to redeem yourself and become a Christian, but you still have to go through the tribulation.
read the book of Revelations in the bible.
