I bought a DVD Recorder/Viseo Cassette recorder. I am trying to copy some of my VHS Movies onto DVDs.?

I understand there is software out there that can help me "get passed" the right-protection tab. Can somebody please tell me the name of such software? Some of my movies are really old and I wanted to make copies so I would have them in case anything ever happened to the VCR copy. Please PLEASE let me know!! I would be greatly thankful!!!

It isn't software, its a device called a video enhancer. The company below is one of many that make them.
