it appear a massage-a error occured .in my compter?

then i start and it appear go to f1 or f2 set up--what i should do in set up-----how i know that my computer is not having any trouble

If you don't know what you are doing, do NOT do anything in there...you can really mess things up. Your time & date are probably wrong...if so, you need a new CMOS battery.

You can't even log on to windows? Why would you have to change any BIOS settings?
