It get's hot when you play volleyball, especially beach volleyball. The less clothes you have on, the more comfortable you'll be. Imagine wearing more clothes and getting all that sand down your shirt when you dive! It would be awful!

Well, it is rather hot when they play, and the less you have on, the less you will overheat.
