If your paper prints this then you are better off than people in the DFW area...all they print about illegals are the poor pitiful me, I only came to work things - if they have a picture associated it generally has many, many children shown! I complained to the DFW Star-Telegran reader advocate about the lack of full coverage on illegals... they never say "illegal" when they write about the murders, raping & thieft but it's obvious from the name they are Hispanic so probably illegal! He told me he lost his Native American heritage because of whites so we deserve what we get! How typical of someone that speaks for a large corporation...We have a huge fight on our hands to get these criminals out of our country...if we have to become uncivilized & march in the streets so be it...we will all just have to go way below our raising and do it! Our government only seems to understand uncivilized behavior - our millions of emails & letters haven't seemed to work!

I live in Arizona and there are a lot of illegal aliens .We have the highest number of border crossing of all the border states. While yes a lot of crimes are committed by illegal aliens,it also has to do with how the media addresses the crimes. They at times will scream the fact that the crime was perpetrated by an illegal alien while another media source will not tell you the status of the person accused.Statistics say there are a lot of crimes committed in this nation and all races and people share that dubious honor of committing them. The illegal alien does their share of crime too.
There is nothing racist in this post and to call the poster racist is wrong. Why didn't you come up with some facts to dispute what was posted instead of playing the tired old race card because you don't have any facts to support your answer.

Living in a border town, there are way too many crimes being committed by illegal immigrants. And the very first one they commit, is entering illegally, then it takes off from there.

To Question's Asker:

All illegal immigrants have already knowingly broken major laws, so their moral barrier to committing more crimes is now down.

To GED: But Michigan is lucky. If you go through those trash heaps, you're sure to find lots of bottles and cans you can get money for.

It has nothing to do with legal status but economics, some people use this information just to inflict hate against illegals and immigrants in general.

It's true because the media always wants to portray the minority as the #1 criminal. If you notice white collar and blue collar crimes done by the majority are not as publicized so since minority crimes are put in newspaper and on TV it looks like they are the only ones committing crimes.

Does our media advertise the crimes commited by us citizens? No, because it doesn't make interesting news. Go to your local sherrif'f office website and look up the inmates. The majority of them are us citizens not illegal immigrants. The only reason people think that the majority of criminals are illegal immigrants is because that is what the media portrays.

It is because a fair percent of the illegal immigrants in the US are here because they are fugitives from justice or active gang members from places such as Mexico or El Salvador.
