Don't you realise that the more that this story is highlighted, the more likely he is to kill again, when he is referred to as being in the same league as "Jack the Ripper" the more notorious this murderer will become,so stop writing about him.
The more he reads about himself, the more he will feel the need to kill. He knows now, if he gets caught, he'll get life,so what has he got to loose?
I think this interest you have in such things, was probably idle curiosity in the beginning, but you are dealing with real people now, this is 2006, so be very careful what you write, it might be read by the wrong person, maybe him!
Don't forget these girls who are being murdered are someone's daughter, have some empathy for the parents involved in these crimes.
Dis-regards the reasons that these girls chose to work the streets, you don't know, anymore than I, why they chose this profession, but for whatever reason they did, they didn't deserve to die for it.
I don't mean to be offensive to you, but am just trying to point out the facts as they are.

I used to live in Norfolk and Suffolk and completely understand that murders (esp. ones like this) in that beautiful part of the world do not happen often.
Only time will tell if the person is profilic. I have my own theory about the person, that he may not be originally from the area, but has lived there for sometime, so knows it well. Other high profile murders in East Anglia in recent years have been committed by people orginally not from the region eg. Ian Huntley and the bloke who date raped and murdered that girl from Cambridge, he was a US Solider based at an airbase. That is not too say all Suffokians are angels, but cause this is national now, does that indicate that the person could have come outwith the region?

The Green River Killer is generally credited with being the most prolific Serial Killer in the United States. And to be Fair, Waco wasn't Clinton's fault. It was The FBI and ATF's rush to end the standoff. I don't like Clinton, just do some reading on the subject.

I'm from England and was shocked to read about this, I've been living in the U.S for almost 15 years and lived around 20 miles from Ipswich and miss it a lot.. anyone who takes the life of anyone deserves to be caught and punished. whoever is doing it is really sick, hopefully they will find them fast. I would be scared too, but unfortunately there are sick people who feel the need to hurt or kill others all over the world. How do you get to the point where you feel you have the right to take another's life?? Sick!

Too early to say debbiecat, but by now they should have got a psychological profile out on him. Body number one was in a particularly inaccessible place - he may have waded up river with it in fact - so this guy has a very specific agenda beyond murder. My bet is he has been leading up to this for some time, and since he killed the first one something has got unleashed inside him. Guess we'll wait and see.

Gary Ridgway killed around 50 prostitutes in the Seattle area - The Green River Killer. I'm not positive, but I think he carried a Bible with him to work. I remember reading something like that.

Isn't there a trial starting in Canada this week (Vancouver I think) where a pig farmer is suspected of murdering 200 women?

No, I doubt anyone can match the classic Victorian horror of the "Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde" type they theorize Jack was, and the part about never catching or proving "who done it" despite many theories.

If this sick pervert wants to get this title s/he is too late - Harold Shipman has beaten him to it - so s/he might as well hand themselves in now before they cause more grief to sticken families.
