This is difficult. There should not be any reason why she is keeping your child away from you.
Unless taking too much painkillers changes your personality, for example makes you aggressive.
It is not suppose to happen, but mixing different types of medication can have certain effects on one.
If you feel a change in your personality after taking your medication, even if it is only the slightest change, talk to a medical practitioner.
If you think of it from a mother's point of view; maybe she wants to spare the child the sadness of seeing his/her father in such pain, and now she is just using that as an excuse.

Not if you have custody rights. If you were addicted or a danger to the child or you were unable to properly care for the child when on the meds, then she could keep your child away. However, if you had custody in some form and someone with you when visiting, then being unable to care for the child yourself would not be an obstacle.
If you haven't gotten custody legally established, it's time to see a lawyer.

I am a woman, but I have to say this....."Women are so STUPID!!!" I hear this everyday. Women think that they are hurting the man when they keep the children away, in actuality, they are hurting the child. Unless the safety of the child is in question, there is never a reason to allow a dumb woman to keep a father away from his child. Plain and Simple.

If she can prove that you are abusing the medication or your judgment and ability to take care of the child is impaired while taking the medication then YES.

Unless you are physically unable to care for her because of your injuries, no. You don't mention if there are other reasons, but you should talk to an attorney.
However, if you are an addict (meaning your accident was a long time ago and you are still on narcotics) then I can understand her concern. Your judgment is impaired when you are on narcotics.
