I believe it will happen because it's spoken of in the Bible...but when? I don't know. It could be in my daughter's lifetime, or perhaps my grandchild's lifetime. Until then, I just continue to worship Him! :)

Yes, the Rapture will happen. When the number of Believers in Christ equal the number of demons on Earth than will He return. The signs in the middle east are pointing toward the end. Watch what is happening in Jerusalem.I do not understand why people think that Jesus Christ hates Jews. How can HE? He is there King. 144,000 Jews will be evangelized after the Rapture. When millions and millions of Christians disappear maybe than unbelievers will stop believing that we are crazy. If and when the Rapture does occur-do not take the mark of the beast. Remember what your "crazy Christians" on this site have said. It only takes one second in time to be saved. John 3:36;Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, For the wrath of God abide on him"
When you are a Christian and die you are absent from the body and face to face with the Lord, no more sorrow, no more tears, no more pain, no more death, the old things pass away. Peace out.

I believe we will all be called before God at the End of Times, but as for "Rapture" that's a concept not delinated in the Bible, it's a New Age term coined by a 15 year old Scottish girl named Margaret MacDonald. It's used, primarily, in New Age relgions such as Pentacostals, Apostolics, etc.
I prefer the modern term. Beamus. Beamus up, God! It comes from Star Trek and seeing as how people are using words not in the Bible to describe the Bible, I figure why not use a modern Space Age term.

The rapture is not BIBLICALY based but part of the dispensational system of false theology..u see they believe that GOD'S original plan was all about the jews. and the nonjew christians suddenly came into exisatence and interfered with HIS original plan, so noww there has to be a rapture to move the christians out so HIS original plan can continue and save the jews. What is going to happen according to the BIBLE IS that the LORD will come and not keep silent..HE will come with the sound of a trumpet and the voice of the arcangel, and the dead in CHRIST will rise first then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up in the air and forever be with the LORD. THEREFORE comfort one another with these words.. and if you want to know and learn more go to AMAZING FACTS website and ask for study guides.

Not only is the rapture going to happen, it is coming sooner then we think, and a lot sooner then most want to accept. For 2,000 years people have said we are in the last days, I tell you we are no longer in the last days, but rather the last DAY, maybe hours and even minutes.
Chose you this day who you will serve. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

When pigs fly!
I'm sure you get a wonderful sense of satisfaction knowing that your kind and loving god will be returning to condemn millions upon millions of Jews and other non-believers to eternal punishment. And to think you complain about how violent Islam is, and that they look forward to a reward of virgins. Why can't you understand why any logical person would opt for Islam over Christianity?

No, it will never happen.
RAPTURE
Rev.10:6 And sware by Him that liveth for ever and ever, Who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
TIME NO LONGER
Rev.10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as He hath declared to His servants the prophets.
SEVENTH ANGEL WHEN HE BEGINS TO SOUND
I Cor.15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM
I Cor.15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
ALL BE CHANGED, NOT JUST THE CHURCH
I Cor.15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
AT THE LAST TRUMP, SEVENTH
I Thes.4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
THE TRUMP OF GOD, SEVENTH
I Thes.4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
THE CLOUDS
The word “the” is not in the Greek manuscripts. Clouds is used by Paul for a throng.
Heb.12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
THE AIR
The word “air” Greek (aer) means “to breathe, respire”, NOT SKY. In other words the breath of life or spirit. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
II Thes.2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him,
OUR GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM
II Thes.2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
NOR BY LETTER AS FROM US, FIRST THESSALONIANS
II Thes.2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU BY ANY MEANS
The sequence of events is Satan first, then the Lord’s day.
Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
TWO CANDLESTICKS
Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
CANDLESTICKS ARE CHURCHES
Yet there are men that teach the church is raptured. Men that teach that flesh and blood is taken and others left behind. It’s nonsense when you study His Word.

No. Most people who understand how recently this idea came to Christianity and how it progressed through christianity aren't believers in it.
Even if it didn't have a pretty bogus source, just think of it objectively. 1. It's a pretty silly "Saturday Morning Cartoon" way of god getting His people together. 2. Practically speaking, how would it work? Pilotless airplanes, busses - death on a massive scale. What a rotten way to "call up" your people.

No, because of reading Isaac Asimov's book "Isaac Asimov on Numbers". In it he explains that the Jews were being revolutionary using something called "numerology" - a Hebrew "game" of sorts that the Romans wouldn't understand. If you read it, it should make a lot of sense to you. If you really want to know when the world ends, it ends when you die, because you are no longer in it.
