She should wear an outfit that looks nice, but is also comfortable.
I think nice jeans, a sweater/blouse and boots is just fine.
There are plenty of people who get dressed up for the theater, but Lion King is a family show, so there will be plenty of people there in just normal every day clothes.
If you don't go to the theater that often, it might be fun to dress up.
Enjoy the show, it is one of the best that I have seen!

Your mom should wear an almost casual shirt that also has that dressy side to it. More of a blouse. Maybe with a V-cut at the neck hole, and probably a solid color. For pants she should wear dress pants, with creases along the side, or a skirt. The skirt is difficult. It has to be a shade of grey, preferably a darker shade, and it has to be kind of tight. It should be slightly above the knees when she walks. For shoes your mom could wear either grey flats, or short heels. not the wide fat heels, but skinnier. Not so skinny that they are like stilettos. Your dad could where a suit kind of outfit, but without the black jacket. Just the white shirt. He should also have a tie, and for the pants, he should just have black or grey dress pants. Shoes he should wear black dress shoes.

She can go either casual or dressy. I prefer casual because the seats are pretty small and uncomfortable. I usually wear jeans and dress them up with a nice top when I go to Broadway shows.
