In certain forms of Satanism, Satan is the creator and master of the universe. In Judaism Satan works for God (all-knowing God wouldn't create something that he knew would rebel against him now would he) In Gnosism Satan is the creator of the physical world (they believe the physical world is evil) Christianity took Lucifer (a Roman God) and included it into their religion and linked Lucifer (the God of the Morning Star and the Light Bringer) to Satan (the Testing Angel) and created a new Mythology.
--
I don't think Satan even knows who he is anymore. Personally I believe that Satan and Jehova is the same entity. He works in mysterious ways (whatever thats suppose to mean...)

I like the way you think. Good question!
No Satan is not all powerful.
As far as I am concerned; Christianity has denied the power of God.
In John 14:12 Jesus said that we would do the works he did and even greater works than he did.
I had to leave Christianity for a 14,000 year old religion called kahunaism to reclaim the power that God intended for humanity to have!
The fact that kahunaism answered my spiritual questions was a bonus.

Satan and other angels have powers we humans do not have.
Angles, according to the bible may appear as; human, fire, wind, a bird, or invisible. They cannot be everywhere at once or omnipresent. Satan and 1/3 of God's angels fell to earth when they sinned, this was a free will choice. They are created beings like us. And some of them are in chains bible says in Tartarus (somewhere in hell). Bible also says when we resist Satan and his crew they will flee from us. Also bible says, "he is stronger/greater that is YOU(God/ holy spirit) than he that is in the world (Satan). "

Satan tried to take over heaven, along with a few other angels, they were not more powerful than God, so God made a place for Satan and his Followers who tried to take over heaven... Where in Heaven's Holy name did you get UNIVERSALLY POWERFUL... that is a bunch of CRAP?!

Here is a hint for you: their is no place in heaven for an evil person, right?. would you beleive that satan was made to screen out the ones who did not follow the word of God? To better explain, weather he like's it or not He is doing Gods work by tempting us of the wrong will. His power is temptation against the rules of the bible...He only has this power if you allow him to have it...You have the power to fight this....The freedom of choice is yours, not his. WE are just being tested by God through his work....UNIVERSALLY POWERFUL (YES only if you beleive it.) But ask yourself this..WHO OWNS THE UNIVERSE?....Evil did not create itself... It just manifested through an angel called Saint lusafer...before he/she fell and became Satan/devil/etc.

Satan has no more power than that of a fallen angel. Jesus has bruised his head and he probably cannot think straight anymore and is a defeated foe of Jesus. Because the devil's power is limited he has now to resort to lies and deception and is called the father of lies. He also goes around like a roaring
lion because he cannot bite because Jesus has defanged him.

I am certain, in my own mind that God exists. My existance is impossible without a creator.
I have not reached the stage of seeing how satan exists. I realize evil exist, for I believe in good and evil. The queer thing is that evil is not evil for evil people. If you believe in survival of the fittest, then, what is evil. The only good for these people is survival and enhancement.
People in a world view with a creator, can be evil, if they are oppressive and murder. In a world view without a creator, they are strong.
I absolutely believe in a creator, a God. The oppressive need to be brought to justice.
Take care,
Ted

Satan was not an angel. He was a Jinn and the best of Jinn and worshipers so God raised him to be with the angels he didn't make him an angel. Angels and Jinn are make from different matter and not interchangeable.

If you mean that the Earth became Satan's at the fall of mankind, then you forgot that jesus got it back when he died on the cross. he crushed satan's head. satan is still aloud to run around but he will be imprisoned like it says in the book of Revelations.

God let satan rule the earth. To this day satan goes to and fro the way he did in the bible.
Job 2:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
