There is eternal pain...
Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
There is not eternal sleep with out dreams for Christians. There is eternal life in the kingdom with Jesus though.
John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
For those who sleep and await the return of Jesus are those who belived and lived by God's law, but died before Jesus was crucified for our sins. Those who sleep await in the bosom of Abraham.

I prefer "eternal sleep" because it doesn't matter if you dreaming or not. A person would always get some rest peacefully. No matter what.

um honestly I think I would take the Eternity of pain. i wouldn't beable to live with out seeing my friends or family or even being in love so as long as I get to see them I wouldn't mind being in pain.
