i didnt have lunch cos i was at my dad's and he cant cook to save his life. and therefore doesnt keep food in the house(only takeaway menu's). i've just got home where we have a nice thing called food and i'm hungry.

what shall i have?

A jacket potatoe with cheese & beans.

Good hearty food. Filling and warming.

My grandma used to say "stewed feet and buttered hayc**cks" but I think beans on toast is hard to beat if you use unsalted butter (lots) and blend a little dried oregano into the beans whilst you are warming them.

Do a quick cheese and ham toastie. Or fry up some curry paste and add tin of coconut milk, chickpeas and some little shrimps

I have got a nice big fat chicken roasting away in the oven, and I will have it with roast carrots, cauliflower, and sprouts, served with a nice home made stock gravy....yummy.

I like to mix up egg noodles, sour cream and a can of peas. This is my comfort food. Yum!

Grilled cheese and tomato soup... or macaroni and cheese... because it's comfort food, it's filling, it's easy to fix, nutritious and you've probably got the fixin's for it there :)
