I am living in the Caribbean and am looking for a baby grand piano. I am concerned about the humidity affecting the felt pads and strings.

The humidity or the lack of humidity will affect the felt pads and strings, you might consider buying a dehumidifier to place in the same room as the piano. If you enjoy playing the piano go for it, nothing makes a statement like a baby grand!

The humidity will be a concern but you just need to regulate the temperature in the room. Don't let it get to any temperature extremes in there and you should be fine. Keep it as consitent as possible you should be sounding beautiful!
