I have a recipe book that was passed to me and it is specifically for crockpots, called "Crock Pot Classics". It has a lot of great recipes in it and you can always change the recipe if it makes too many servings. Check a book store or even thrift stores. Sometimes places like GoodWill or the Salvation Army Thrift Shops have good cookbooks for very cheap!

My two favorite crockpot books are The Best Slow Cooker Cookbook Ever by Natalie Haughton, and Crockery Cookery by Mable Hoffman.
They're not for a small crockpot, but have good recipes. Maybe get your grandmother some tupperware or Gladware so she can save the leftovers in her freezer. My grandma was widowed and still cooked huge batches and saved them for nights she didn't feel like cooking, or to hand out to family when they visited.
I so miss her cooking! I wish I would have asked for her recipes.

I couldn't find any books for single crockpots...and that's strange as I collect cookbooks and thought I had seem them all!
I found this website that had some interesting information on the adapting of recipes for crockpots though. Hope it helps.

Try your local book store. I have seen lots of cookbooks that are "cooking for one" the recipes can be adapted to the crock pot. It will come with a little recipe book inside, maybe that's enough?

My roommates bought a crockpot recently and then went down to Borders and picked up a crockpot cookbook where every recipe in it was seven ingredients or less. They've been using that poor thing everyday since. If you don't have a Borders near near you, you can order from them online at borders.com. They have practically everything and I find that it's easy to overspend. Good luck. Cheers.^~

If it's the little white rival or presto crock pot that I used to have that makes a few cups of food, you're not going to find a cookbook dedicated to this pot. I had mine for a few years and never found one that had recipes for such a small pot. I wound up dividing recipes made for larger ones and when I got tired of that, I just got a bigger one.

Sunset has the best cookbooks for single portions or a web site like Crockpots.com - http://www.crockpot.com/faqs.aspx - and you could print the recipes you know she'd like for her to put in a notebook. Good Luck!
