I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

Those are definitely signs of a panic disorder. Check in with your doc and when you start having those thoughts, truly analyze them. "How likely is it really that I will get shot?" "Why is this scary to me?" etc. Then change the thought to something more positive. "We have a pretty good police force, so crime is really pretty low." If you do this every time, your thought processes will eventually change. However, some good drugs will work wonders.

sounds more like general anxiety disorder panic disorder usually is an more isolated event it doesn't go on all the time many victims explain it as feeling as if they are dying and/or a choking sensation See a mental health professional in person they will be able to tell the difference

See a doctor and he can prescribe something that will help calm you down and get rid of the panic/anxiety symptoms. Also look into counseling, it will help you out a lot. And if you ever get really bad off with the panic attack carry a paper bag with you and use it to breath into to get your breathing back to normal.

Stop your intake of caffine!

See if this helps first...

Do not stop all at once you could have withdrawls, ween yourself off it over a three or four day period.
