I don't have a good opinion on that at all.......
Now Let me explain:
My mom did it with my sister when she was that age. Since then my sister has been married, had two wonderful kids, and NOW they are divorced. My sister is 25 years old now and she chose a life of drugs and left her family. My niece and nephew live with there dad and have since my sister walked out. My niece is 8 and my nephew is 5 almost 6. My sister hasn't seen her kids since my nephew was about 5 or 6 months old. My sister has been doing drugs for a long time and smoking pot is one of the things on top of the many others that she has done. On top of selling the drugs and being a stripper. I am sure this doesn't happen to all people that decide to smoke up with there kids. But I don't think that condoning it is a good thing either. They see it as being o.k. and they shouldn't. We should think about being responsible parents and we are not supposed to be our kids' best friend, we are supposed to be there parent first and then a friend and I don't think that, that includes getting high with your kids.

You should raise the authority in the house -- I smoked weed and drank lots and when my parent's put their foot down, that's when I realized I was out of control for a teenager. You just need to tell her that she is no longer allowed having boys in the house, and if you catch her smoking any more marijuana in her room than she will lose the privledge of privacy and she'll lose her door or something (take it of the hinges). I know it seems bizarre, but you can't be having this. She's only 15 years old, I'm 16 now and it was only last year I was in the same situation. At the time, I hated my parents but now I'm so grateful and I'm sure your daughter will be too :) ! Good luck! PS: I'm now a Straight A student, I don't drink (besides the occasional social drink), I'm disgusted by weed. You can do it !

Its one thing if the daughter is off doing it behind the mothers back, but right there with her this ***** has problems and needs some help. Someone should say something before her daughter is fried. Yet then it might not do any good u have a good 80% of people that smoke, but its a start of doing right and not wrong.

WOW!!! The mom has a mental health problem...not only is she hurting herself, but she's hurting her precious daughter's life too. The mother seems to not care about her life nor her daughter's. She needs serious help before it gets worse. The daughter's going to need to realize that her mom needs help and talk to the mom. Smoking pot can lead to death. The daughter need to do some research of what she can do to stop it, ASAP!!!

I know for a fact that she is setting her daughter up for failure later in life. My son's father said he did the same thing with his mother and he is a no good, drug addict, alchie, felon , liar of a man, and he is 30 now and has another woman pregnant and never took care of the 1st. it is a horrible thing to do and she probably thinks her mom is cool but its going to hurt in the log run.

She will have to live with it should her daughter get into trouble or get deeper into drugs. I don't think at 15, the child should be participating in such things, especially with a parent. A parent should be teaching her children right from wrong, not including her kids in illegal activites.

As parents we are supposed to lead by example. I suppose you could give the old argument that you would rather them do it with you at home than somewhere else, but why not educate them on responsible decisions and the harmful effects of smoking to begin with? Not a wise thing to do...smoking with your kids...in my opinion.

Any mother who would indulge in anything illegal with any of her children is not living by good example. The reason our world is in the predicament it's in today is because parents have let down the standard banner of parenting and children are allowed to run amuck. I'm so grateful for the upbringing and training I received from my mother (my father passed when I was two). She was strict, loving, and firm. She was 4'11" of fear, and I am glad for that today. I tried to raise my children with those same principles, and I hope I have done half of the job my mother did with me.

Sick - she wants to be her pal instead of her mom. Is she banging her daughters' boy friends too?
