Do women expect a man to approach them for a date? I have friends who seem so natural at talking to women. When I approach and strike up a conversation I feel like they sense my fear. Any suggestions on how to get over this...Sometimes I feel like I should be more reserved and play the tough guy role and let her come to me. Then I'm thinking that I need to keep practicing at approaching until I'm more comfortable. Thanks.

There are a lot of strong, confident, nonverbal cues that you can give women to let them know that you are interested. A good smile, eye contact, opening doors for them, pulling out their chairs, taking their coats are all things that you can do to let a woman know that you are interested without even saying a word.
Yes, eventually you'll have to speak up and talk to her, but just doing those little things can get her attention and possibly make her start a conversation with you.

This is probably my favorite question in a while, so my answer may be a bit long. Beware. YES. I love shy men more than any other kind. They are generally more thoughtful, kind, mysterious, deep, complex, and intellectual than other guys I've been around. Not that I don't love loud people; I just find shy guys amazing. It's okay to be a little introverted, but I'm honestly puzzled by your dating situation. You seem like an interesting, well-rounded person. And you're really good looking. Instead of losing your shyness, try to talk to girls on a "friendship level" before expressing interest. This may make it a bit easier for you get to know girls. PS: If I knew you in real life, I would definately give you my number if asked, regardless if I had a boyfriend or not. Hope this helped!

Try not thinking so much. I would hope that you don't automatically look at a female and think I wanna date her. Substance is important too lol! Try approaching the situation as if you were trying to make a new friend and let it go from there. Most women can't smell fear but most know sincerity when they hear it.

Don't ever play a role because that means you are not being the real you. Hang around a lareger group of people and just pick up conversation with someone and if they decide that they like your conversation and maybe you could continue to talk again in a more location (like a cozy restaurant, park, jazz club or whatever). Try it you will never know til you try.

Aww i think that being shy is really sweet. I think that shy guys attract me more for some reason. The only problem there is that some gurls are shy themsleves and someone has to make the move. I think that most gurls do expect the gurls to ask them out first. Just get up the nerve to ask someone out ans hey you might be supprise what happens. If not there are some gurls that dont care and will ask the guy out. Just dont be scared.

Internet dating, when done correctly, can be very beneficial. Not for minors though. Reda this review: http://www.relationship-affairs.com/dating-sites.html
